15/03/2024: I was accepted into a PhD program with a research focus on Large Language Models (LLMs), Information Retrieval (IR), and Multimodal Models at the University of San Diego. Update: Due to personal reasons, I had to decline the offer.
11/03/2024: I started to work as a part-time professor at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Chile, lecturing on Data Mining and other postgraduate courses.
01/02/2024: I started a new job position as a Machine Learning Engineer at Replai SpA.
31/01/2024: I obtained an Academic IELTS certification with a score of 7.0/9.0, indicating a C1 English Level proficiency.

23/12/2023: I obtained an Academic IELTS certification with a score of 6.5/9.0, indicating a B2 English Level proficiency.
01/09/2023: I attended the first Postgraduate Symposium at the Faculty of Mathematical and Physical Sciences of the University of Chile, Santiago, Chile, to present my thesis poster.
08/08/2023: I defended my master's thesis titled "RiverText: A Framework for Training and Evaluating Incremental Word Embeddings from Text Data Streams" at the University of Chile. Which I obtained my engineering and master's degrees. The committee scored my presentation 6.8/7.0 on the Chilean scale (equivalent to GPA 4.0), granting me cum laude honors.
23-27/07/2024: I attended SIGIR 2023 in Taipei, Taiwan, to present our paper titled: "RiverText: A Python Library for Training and Evaluating Incremental Word Embeddings from Text Data Streams".
12/04/2023: I presented my dissertation on my project thesis (video in Spanish).
31/03/2023: Our paper RiverText: A Python Library for Training and Evaluating Incremental Word Embeddings from Text Data Streams was accepted at the Proceedings of the 46th International ACM SIGIR Conference on Research and Development in Information Retrieval (SIGIR 2023), Taipei, Taiwan.
